Our new Vicar, the Reverend Laura Selman, was licensed on 5th August 2020 at Sidmouth Parish Church. Coronavirus restrictions meant that the church was almost empty, but it was broadcast via Youtube, and a recording can be watched here.

Reverends Laura and Nigel have created a few words on paper, which would normally appear in our Parish Newsletter. However, a sheet was distributed to those attending the Sunday service at St Peter's Church on 30th August. If you were unable to attend, you can access Laura's words here and Nigel's here.

The Front page of this website gives guidance for prayer at home. It includes links to printed materials, on-line services both local and national, and information about Radio & TV broadcasts. All Saints Church provides a number of Youtube services, and a telephone conference call service at 7pm on Sundays. Contact our Churchwardens Pam or Julia (phone numbers below) for more details of the 7pm Service.

If you would like a prayer said for someone who is sick or in need, or for something that concerns you, our Prayer Request page gives contact details.

There are a number of support options for those isolated at home. In Sidbury, Drews Butchers are running a delivery service, and the Red Lion pub is offering take-away meals Tuesday - Friday 18:00 - 21:00.

Sidmouth Town Council have published a leaftet listing food delivery and other services. Sid Valley Help have also published a leaflet of telephone delivery and take-away businesses. Both leaflets give information on voluntary services that can provide further help.

Built in the 1860s as a chapel of ease, the Church of St. Peter is the largest building in Sidford and is one of the two churches in the parish of Sidbury with Sidford.  It is a typical Victorian brick building intended to be a church at the heart of the community.  The fellowship at St. Peter’s see this as being both their heritage and their vision. The worship reflects a wide range of spirituality and taste, following the Common Worship book.

The Hall, built during the 1970s, is used by the church and community for social and other purposes. It is available for hire - click for details.
