ST GILES CHURCH
The beautiful Grade I listed
Church of St. Giles stands at the centre of the picturesque village of
Sidbury where a church building has stood since Saxon times. Under the
chancel there exists to this day a 7th century Saxon crypt, this is open
every Thursday afternoon, during the summer, when guided tours take
place.
In the 1860's a second church, St
Peter's was built in the parish at Sidford. Attached is a hall which is
used by both congregations.
