Christmas can often be a frantic time, when there always seems to be too much to do. Rushing around, we struggle to find the time to pause and think about what the festivities really mean.

Yet a simple candle can remind us of the peace and hope at the heart of Christmas. A single flame cuts through the darkness – and the Bible talks about the coming of Jesus as a light who will draw all people to him.
