Welcome to the Church of England in Sidmouth & the Sid Valley

Welcome to the Homepage of the Sid Valley Mission Community. We are part of the Church of England in Devon in the Diocese of Exeter. We are situated on the Heritage Coast twelve miles East of Exeter. Sidmouth is an unspoilt Regency town and the Sid Valley extends up from the coast to include the beautiful Devon village of Sidbury with its Saxon parish church and streets of thatched cottages. Salcombe Regis is a small hamlet, with its quiet medieval church nestling in a beautiful, secluded valley, just over Salcombe hill to the East of Sidmouth on the South West coast path .

The six Anglican churches form a single Mission Community serving all the communities of the Sid Valley and offer a wide variety of worship and church tradtions, from Evangelical to Catholic and from sung Eucharist to informal family worship. You are sure of a warm welcome in any of our churches and we invite you to come and join us in worship when you visit this lovely part of England.
